ک مرتبہ ایک بادشاہ نے اپنے وزیز کو آدھی سلطنت دینے کو کہا ، لیکن ساتھ میں کچھ شرائط بھی عائد کیں
وزیر نے لالچ میں آکر شرائط جاننے کی درخواست کی بادشاہ نے شرائط 3 سوالوں کی صورت میں بتائیں۔
سوال نمبر 1: دنیا کی سب سے بڑی سچائی کیا ہے؟
سوال نمبر 2 : دنیا کا سب سے بڑا دھوکا کیا ہے؟
سوال نمبر 3 : دنیا کی سب سے میٹھی چیز کیا ہے ؟
بادشاہ نے اپنے وزیر کو حکم دیا کہ وہ ان تین سوالوں کے جواب ایک ہفتہ کے اندر اندر بتائے بصورت دیگر سزائے موت سنائی جائے گی۔وزیر نے سب پہلے دنیا کی بڑی سچائی جاننے کے لئے ملک کے تمام دانشوروں کو جمع کیا اور ان سے سوالات کے جواب مانگے ۔انہوں نے اپنی اپنی نیکیاں گنوائیں ۔لیکن کسی کی نیکی بڑی اور کسی کی چھوٹی نکلی لیکن سب سے بڑی سچائی کا پتہ نہ چل سکا۔اس کے بعد وزیر نے دنیا کا سب سے بڑا دھوکا جاننے کے لئے کہا تو تمام دانشور اپنے دئے ہوئے فریب کا تذکرہ کرتے ہوئے سوچنے لگے کہ کس نے کس کو سب سے بڑا دھوکا دیا لیکن وزیر اس سے بھی مطمئن نہیں ہوا اور سزائے موت کے خوف سے بھیس بدل کر وہاں سے فرار ہوگیا ۔چلتے چلتے رات ہوگئی ،اسی دوران اس کو ایک کسان نظر آیا جو کھرپی سے زمین کھود رہا تھا۔ کسان نے وزیر کو پہچان لیا ،وزیر نے اس کو اپنی مشکل بتائی جسے سن کر کسان نے اس کے سوالوں کی جواب کچھ یوں دئے
دنیا کی سب سے بڑی سچائی موت ہے ۔
دنیا کا سب سے بڑا دھوکا زندگی ہے۔
تیسرے سوال کا جواب بتانے سے پہلے کسان نے کہا کہ میں اگر تمہارے سارے سوالوں کےجواب بتادوں تو مجھے کیا ملے گا ،سلطنت تو تمہارے ہاتھ آئے گی۔ یہ سن کر وزیر نے اسے بیس گھوڑوں کی پیشکش کی اور اسے ہی اصطبل کا نگران بنانے کی بھی پیشکش کی۔کسان نے یہ سن کر جواب دینے سے انکار کر دیا ۔وزیر نے سوچا کہ یہ تو آدھی سلطنت کا خواب دیکھ رہا ہے ۔وزیر جانے لگا تو کسان بولا کہ اگر بھاگ جاؤگے تو ساری زندگی بھاگتے رہو گے اور بادشاہ کے بندے تمہارا پیچھا کرتے رہیں گے اور اگر پلٹو گے تو جان سے مارے جاؤگے۔یہ سن کر وزیر رک گیا اور کسان کو آدھی سلطنت کی پیشکش کی لیکن کسان نے اسے لینے سے انکار کر دیا ۔اتنے میں ایک کتا آیا اور پیالے میں رکھے ہوئے دودھ میں سے آدھا پی کر چلا گیا ۔کسان نے وزیر سے کہا مجھے آدھی سلطنت نہیں چاہیے بس تم اس بچے ہوئے دودھ کو پی لوتو میں تمہارے تیسرے سوال کا جواب بتادوں گا ۔یہ سن کر وزیر تلملا گیا مگر اپنی موت اور جاسوسوں کے ڈر سے اس نے دودھ پی لیا۔وزیر نے دودھ پی کر کسان کی طرف دیکھا اور اپنے سوال کا جواب مانگا
تو کسان نے کہا کہ
دنیا کی سب سے میٹھی چیز انسان کی غرض ہے
جس کے لئے وہ ذلیل ترین کام بھی کر جاتا ہے۔ --
