A Man married a beautiful woman and loved her.
... There came a time when a disease spread causing boils on the skin, scarred and distorted the patient in a very severe way.
One day his beautiful wife felt the symptoms of the disease, and learned that she is sick and will loose her beauty.
But her husband was out of the house and had no idea of the disease.
On the way home, the husband got into an accident, lost his sight and became blind.
The couple continued on day after day their marriage. The wife lost her beauty and her face was distorted.
They completed 40 years together with the same degree of love and harmony, that appeared in the first year of marriage. He loved her madly and she was treated with respect.
But one day the wife died. The husband mourning for his wife deeply saddened said goodbye to his wife.
When the funeral ended. It was time to go. Everyone had gone home. Therefore, the husband went home alone.
A man called: Where are you going?
The husband said, "my house"!
The man replied sadly: How do you go alone and blind?
The husband answered, I am not blind!
When I learned that my wife had the disease, I felt she might be scared that I would be ashamed of her illness. So, I pretended to be blind to not damage the feelings of my wife, she was a wonderful wife. Throughout the forty years I have dealt with our love the same before her illness.
